We were impressed with the comments online about this restaurant that spoke about good food and attentive service. We weren't disappointed. This is an intimate experience - a bit like a loud bistro - but tasteful and attentive. It is clear that the owners are...More

Quaint & well decorated restaurant. Enjoyed the calamari entree, well seasoned complimented by green salad and mayo. The main of crab & chilli spaghetti was not enjoyable. The chilli crab sauce was far too salty and heavy which overpowered the flavour of the crab and...More

My husband finally took me to Ciao Cielo - it was great. It is a small space but once inside you are transported away from the hustle and bustle of Bay Street, into a cosy ristorante that could be somewhere in Italy. The food and...More

Having recently moved into the area, Ciao Cielo our second home restaurant. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Great service. Simple and delicious food. Our children like their food simple, so they had gnocchi without roasted pumpkin, walnuts, dolce blue, spinach and added a napoli sauce. For...More

The whole ambience of this place exudes quality. The food was excellent, the service spot on, the prices not cheap (but would you expect it to be cheap if it was quality?), and the overall offering well worth sampling. This is recommended. Go do it!

Hi Christine, you'll have to give them a call. I know the same people have opened up a new restaurant nearby called Corte, so it should be good & maybe they do offers. We'll be trying it in a couple weeks

Ciao Cielo - literally translated from Italian as Hello Sky - is a sparkling addition to the Melbourne restaurant landscape. Situated on lively Bay Street, in Port Melbourne, Inspired by Art Deco elements, Milano sophistication and the glamour of the 40's. Original floor to ceiling boards, beautiful lead light windows dating back to the old shop row days when hardware was the trade. A look at the portraits on the walls show a tribute to the very much loved and missed Lloyd and Mary Grand parents whom past in the Black Saturday fires Bryan's food is about strong italian flavours reflected in the abundance of amazing produce availiable locally in Victoria. Bryan is by no means a traditionalist, he believes in the right to be as creative as one desires with what you are inspired with.
