We were very impressed with the value and taste of the grazing plate on the lunch menu. A good amount of food for two. Nice outdoor area and friendly staff.

We went to Tusk two days running while visiting Melbourne. A quirky and friendly cafe during the afternoon and at night. Highly recommend the grazing plate which was for two although was easily an entree for four of us. The sweet potato chips were amazing. Dinner the next night I had gnocchi, a tomato based source with cherry tomatoes and... More

Has a wow factor for attention. Staff all on the ball making sure we were greeted, found a seat, coffee order as we sat and menus presented not long after. A short wait in a packed venue for coffee, so too for food, more than happy with the prompt meal arrival post ordering. Will come back here, definitely.

Had the bowl with coconut yoghurt, chia and granola. Really good! Loved it. And try the fresh juices. The one with watermelon, cranberry and strawberries is good!

Very quirky, buzzing atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty meals. Shared a pumpkin and goats cheese pizza with my daughter which was delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken and chorizo pizza. One beer, an orange juice freshly squeezed and a chai Latte completed our luncheon. Total cost $64.60. Dining was available inside or out.

Recommended by some Melbourne residents, and did not disappoint. Loved it here, food was great, coffee was great, service was great and lovely quirky surroundings. Definitely come back here when next in Melbourne.

This is now the go-to when I'm staying nearby in Melbourne. Super friendly and efficient service, the coffee is truly excellent, and the breakfast menu still has some options I haven't tried yet. This time I simply had eggs on toast and my sister had the salmon eggs benedict on potato rosti which she was raving about. Consistently happy with... More

Nice green leafy outdoor setting and reasonable menu choices attracted us to this place. The staff were friendly and did change our meal when they got it wrong, though it took quite a while. The Rossi with salmon was very tasty as were the corn fritters but the chai latte allegedly made with brewed chai was tasteless. Other menu options... More

Food portions, bubbly service and good coffee make Tusk an easy choice. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our choices. I'd happily go back anytime!

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
