Great setting in the arcade, good atmosphere but staffed by people who seem to think serving the public is a great imposition. Service is slow and disinterested. Had drinks here but had to wait far too long to order. We had to seek someone out...More

Like a little slice of Europe, Caffe e Torta (coffee and cake) is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Away from the hustle of some of the other laneways, it serves good food and drinks all day. The coffee is...More

My wife and I were wandering around Melbourne city and went into Royal Arcade where we came upon Caffe e Torta. What a great spot to stop for a bruschetta and Aperol Spritz! Menu otherwise looks good and cake selection tops. Really worth a visit.

What a great little place amongst so many other options this place differentiates itself by offering full table service. I opted for the poached chicken breast salad it was perfect.

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary

never quite know what you’ll find around the next
corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and
even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air
