With just a red staircase up to the restaurant, I have in the pass walked by thousand of times without paying it much attention. Since a friend introduced me to this place as I love my spicy food, I'm hooked and its my go to restaurant when I am craving for Szechuan. They have a huge menu and priced slightly... More

There's NOTHING charming about this place!! Be warned! Stay away from this Resto. The owner/manager lady "charmed" us to go into a separate room as we are a party of 10. Not clear to us is that she will require us to order to the amount of $200! Just so we can sit together. We told her we are happy... More

Not your typical Chinese restaurant as just about everything on the menu has spicy/chilli flavours. Very popular with Asian heritage diners. A great idea, the menu includes good size photos of most selections and the serving sizes are very generous. You need to alert the waiter/waitress to your readiness to order or to request additional drinks but this seems to... More

A must is the fish fillet in pickled cabbage soup a real house specialty. The decor... More

This place is excellent for those who like to eat spicy sichuan food. Almost everything on the menu has chilly on it. Having said that, this place has one of the yummiest sichuan food around. However, service is pretty lacking.

Worst Sichuan restaurant ever. We went there for dinner and was very very disappointed. 1) Stir fried egg plant with minced pork- food was served within 1 minute of ordering it. Tasted like it was cooked yesterday, the pork was not fresh. The eggplant was mushy. 2) Beef in spicy chilli oil- was very acidic and salty. The worst ever... More

Meals are really good and it is definitely the real sichuan flavor. I recommend it to all my friends who will go to melbourne. Also the price is really cheap. Less than $15 pp.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
