Salad roll, meat pies, quiche Lorraine or a custard tart you can never go wrong here. Eating in or take away their produce is fresh and made daily and they have usually run out of things by the Time lunch time rush is over it's that popular. Their coffee isn't the best in the local area but its flavorsome food... More

Headed to Hobart for our mums 90th birthday weekend from Melbourne. Did the Salamanca market then decided to do the hop on, hop off bus, and dropped in for a light lunch here, before continuing on our way . Coffees hot, pies beautiful and tasty. Wish this was my local bakery, as I would be here every weekend.

I occasionally call into this bakery to get my lunch on my way to work, so around 8am. It appears to be a busy time, with others doing the same as me, and with a staff member making up salad rolls and sandwiches to go into the fridge. Problem is, at that time of the day, there is simply not... More

Good place to go for a made-to-order sandwich, nice sweet treats, and coffee. The bread is good, and it's nice to have the sandwich made then and there -- no sogginess, or dryness of ingredients. Worth trying if you are in the area.

We had a quick bite here, and were pleasantly surprised by the prices. $5 for a coffee and muffin. Other slices are very reasonably priced, being a bit over $2. They have great family sized quiches on special the day we were there for only $10.

Pies and desserts here where so delicious! Headed here on our way from the tahune air walk. Pasty tastes all homemade and delicious. I had a lemon tart which was to die for. Very cheap also. Less than 50 for 7 pies, a sausage roll, 2 drinks, a lemon tart, cherry pie and gingerbread man. So fresh and delicious. Also... More
