What a gem this small bakery is. The breads are outstanding, my favourite being the light rye, just like a good German rye. So happy they are now baking in Devonport, a 30 minute drive from home, but happy to make the journey.

Went here with my family for a late breakfast/early lunch. I had the green eggs which were to die for. My mum thoroughly enjoyed the granola and my sister raved about the beans. I tried both and can confirm they were delicious! The coffee was great also, a really lovely flavour. The staff are bright and happy. This is a... More

Went there for breakfast after reading how excellent it was. The name gives it away, it is small and as such space to move is tight. That is expected. What was unexpected was the noise. With the place about 3/4 full, with people getting take away orders etc, it really wasn't a great environment for a relaxing breakfast. On occasion... More

I have had the good fortune to eat here 3 times this year and enjoyed every mouthful. Rustic style café, great for breakfast and lunch. Staff are excellent.

Ten minutes earlier and we would walked away from a crowded little cafe, and ten minutes later we would have missed that it was full of Maeve O'Meara's gourmet travellers. Given the accolade it is tempting to give 5 stars, but we only had coffee and cake. Both were excellent, and this must rate as one of the best double... More

The food, is well presented and tasty-as! Visited this fantastic find in Feb of this year (sorry for the delay, guys!). All three of us had the baked beans, and each person LOVED them. The feel of the cafe was definitely influenced by a high proportion of locals... very few tourists. Felt awesome!! Will DEFINITELY return on my next visit... More

Delicious! Had the ocean trout for brunch and the goats curd on it was to die for. The sourdough bread accompaniment was amazing. My husband had the baked eggs and ham and this was also very tasty. Lovely staff, good food and coffee, can't ask for much more for break my!

This is my favorite local for coffee. Friendly and welcoming staff who go out of their way. Great coffee, drink in or takeaway. Food is local, fresh and outstanding. Can get very busy but staff will always accommodate :)

We were thrilled that this little cafe is around the corner from where we are staying. Called in for brunch and found a cosy table at the back. We were immediately served by a waitress who took our coffee orders. The coffee was decent but not the best we've had in Hobart. We both had the baked eggs, which we... More
