Just superb Italian food, prepared with love and care, and served by happy waitresses. We have tried the pizzas (the best in Hobart), the spinach canneloni, and the lasagne. The serves are gigantic, so make sure you go hungry. The wine list is interesting, and reasonably priced. Perhaps our favourite Italian!!!

We had breakfast here at an upstairs window table overlooking the harbour. Food and service were great. Lovely way to start the day.

Food was great. I only had an entree for mains, which was plenty for me. I had dessert also. Only downside for some would be the spiral staircase to the large number of tables upstairs. Service very friendly.

This place sits out from the shoreline as one of the prettiest and most inviting in destinations of all. We made a beeline for it with 45minutes to kill before the MONA ferry with a friend. With too much to say to each other, we kept thinking the coffee was coming, but 40 minutes later we had to ask ...and... More

Had to wait over an hour for breakfast when place was only half full. Given the wrong drinks and they even gave us an incorrect additional side dish and tried to charge us for it. Food was fine when it arrived though.

This is a quaint establishment with great food - we had breakfast and would definitely recommend. Good service with ordering at counter. Convenient spot before catching the MONA ROMA ferry.

Stopped for lunch after a hard morning of walking. Looking for something light, tasty and not cost a fortune. I had a BLT and partner a savoury muffin. Bothe were fresh and very tasty. Well balanced. The smells coming from the kitchen were calorific and difficult to resist eating something more. Coffee was superb and the service friendly and very... More

Great spot for coffee and breakfast before catching Mona ferry. Lovely warm atmosphere, daily newspapers & magazines to read. Good eggs and bacon. And some of the other breakfast options looked great too.

Our return visit to Harbour Lights was disappointing. A simple order of two scallop pies, two flat white and a chinotto took more than half an hour, and the cafe was not busy. We had to remind the staff about our scallop pies which they had forgotten about. No apologies. Just a chocolate Easter egg each.
