The Marron Cafe is surprisingly basic and modest in its decor, but the food here is great! Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their lunch - my chilli and lime Marron was delicious! Worth wandering across next door for a wine tasting, and to check out the Marron tanks on display after ordering - the friendly staff will come... More

Well worth a visit, great spot The White wines are very nice, go down very nicely with the maron. Intersting learning how the farm & winery started and seeing how it all works Recommend any of the maron dishes are worth trying of course with a bottle (or two)of two wheeler wine?? It's a bit expensive, but worth it

Marron Cafe is set on the farm which is awesome. Menu is super basic and had something for everyone (steak, chicken, marron) but the marron was a delight. Tasted like fresh water and beautiful seafood....

This cafe is off main road - almost 8-10 km depending which way you are driving Lovely food and coffee except pricey as the famous Marron is $40 each Has a wine tasting overall pleasant place to stop by

You have to go a long way, across a turbulent sea and down a dirt road to get to the Marron Cafe, so it probably makes sense to know what a marron is and whether or not you're going to like eating one, before you head off there. However, if none of these potential impediments and/or pre-requisites are a problem,... More

Bit of a drive up a dirt road to visit the Marron farm and wine tasting But worth it to listen to an interesting talk about Marrons and then eat them for lunch! Excellent presentation of a yummy crustacean

We come to the Farm for lunch. The premises are very attractive - rather different from the common corrugated iron prefab construction. The marron is a freshwater crayfish which is the speciality of the Farm, and this is the main menu item. I can't say I am a fan: too much effort for a small quantity of rather bland meat,... More

Very interesting Marron farm with tanks of different size marron. Good informative talk given. Cafe next door has a very pleasant atmosphere and views with native shrubs. Food was excellent and service very good. Enjoyed some local wine with our meal. Some roads not sealed but no problem for our small car.

What a beautiful place to visit. Off the beaten track but don't need a 4WD to get there. Easy to find. Well worth the visit & price. If you feel like a bit more than a $20 pub meal & something a bit more refined go spoil yourself at the Marron cafe. Expect to pay more but prices are very... More

We visited here while driving through KL on holiday. They have a fresh water marron farm surrounded by Valley of grape vines mainly sauvignon blanc. The cafe on site offers lunch only and you'd have to pre-book it as the seats are limited and the site can get overwhelmed with heaps of tourists. You can get a little tour around... More
