Chianti was perfect for a family and friends meal. We were even allowed to bring a really exquisite Henschke Mt Edelstone 1994. Entre included various hand made pasta, roasted fig with prosciutto, scallops etc. We selected the grass feed Bistecca as mains, Barossa Birds pasture fed chicken, gnocchi. Rasberry and prosecco sorbet was offred to cleanse our pallets before the... More

The service was slow, we waited an hour and a half for our meals, half our table were so disappointed in their meals they didn't even finish them. The grilled octopus was so tough you couldn't cut it. The bill was outrageously expensive. Go anywhere also but dine at this restaurant. An extremely disappointing experience.

Wow what a lovely restaurant. It is definitely upmarket so not your traditional Italian boring pasta type place. The Antipasto was amazing and HUGE. You won't be able to do that plus entree plus main plus dessert. In fact we only managed that and the mains. Really great and will absolutely be going back.

The most dreadful service I've ever experienced. Food was cold and VERY average and overpriced. Small serves, fish had 3 bones in it and I got gastro from eating there. Do not recommend!

Walking in off the street, we were warmly welcomed to a table and settled with drinks. The ambiance makes the visit special - raw stone in the walls, completed by white tables clothes and timber furnishings. The Italian pasta dishes we had were aldente , sauces fresh made with the best of ingredients and well balanced, complimented by and excellent... More

I had been here for breakfast a month before and thought it was average but decided to try dinner. It was below average. Boring food, inattentive staff, the break between meals was too long - I felt hungry again (not like they were busy). Considering how highly this is rated I was very unimpressed. It was also expensive for what... More

Table of four, good wine, great food about $400 for the four of us for 2 courses so not cheap but serves more than generous and we just didn't have room for dessert. Great wines from Italy. Staff were friendly and professional.

Didn't expect to come all the way from Europe to have Italian food in Australia. However we had an outstanding lunch. Food was most excellent and well presented. Service was super nice, both attentive and non intrusive which allowed us to take our time and enjoy the moment, along with a fine glass of wine.

We dined at Chianti Restaurant in late November 2015 for our Wedding Anniversary and we continue to be astounded at the stunning quality of food and what has to be the best customer service ever from all the front of house staff members. We left a significant tip because the level of service is unmatched consistently each time we visit.... More

Visited here to celebrate my partners birthday with our 2 boys aged 6 & 10. The food is amazing & the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended for one of the best italian meals we have ever had. No childrens menu but they can have smaller portions from the adult menu of some dishes. Would highly recommend a visit to... More
