POPEYE'S FISH AND CHIPS AND TAKEAWAY, Hamilton Island

Eight of us had a meal from there it was terrible. Over cooked the Cajun fish was burnt black! Only choice of fish was flake or mackerel. $140 spent and we would not have eaten a quarter of it.

Small serving of Fish

Always great to have takeaway options on Hamilton Island, Popeyes fish n chips, were good, large serve of chips, but the smallest serve of fish, we opted for grilled barramundi, which was very good, but the size of the fillet, did not correspond with the...$18.00 price. Worst Fish & Chips in North Queensland

North Queenslanders' are spoilt when it comes to Seafood however when I purchased some fish and chips on 12th September at Popeyes, not only was I suprised by the expense $70.40. Then to find a piece of hair in my batter. I returned this and...had an offer for another piece rather than money back. I recommend the bakery next to fish and chip storeMore

Excellent fish and chips

Family pack was great. Good mixture of seafood which was fresh and cooked well. Very good value for money.

Don't come hungry

Husband and I ordered two pieces of fish for dinner tonight. Fish was tasty but unbelievable small. Very dissapointed and won't be returning.

Food was very tasty.

This is a Fish and Chips shop, so don’t expect gourmet food, BUT it the seafood and chips are very tasty, service is friendly and fast. If you are looking for a quick, cheap feed on Hamilton, this is your place to go.

Best Fish in a long while

Ate here twice during our stay as this was the best Fish and Chip I've eaten in a very long time. The Cajun Buttermilk Coral Trout is amazing!

Great lunch

Superb fish and chips, service was excellent and outdoor seating looking over the marina superb. Highly recommend not feeding birds as the signs say.

Mrs not happy

I can not believe how stingy you are. That smallest piece of fish and chips is size for a toddler. Shame on you. You need support because of Covid19 but how to small portion for that price. I dont need chipies but fish. Not coming...any more in my 10 days on Hamilton island.More
