If you are into seafood then this is definitely where you want to go for dinner. The view over the marina is nice and the service was good. The menu isn’t overly extensive- majority seafood with mains mostly fish. We were pleased with our selections....The highlight for me was the apple sorbet cocktail! Delicious!More

Went out with a friend for an evening meal, we shared a grilled squid as a starter - 2-3 tiny pieces of squid, chewy, distasteful, not even a size for one! Both of us ordered a fish dish which was another tiny piece of fish,...served with few veg in an enormous plate, we paid and left, it was actually insulting how this restaurant owner can serve something like this to the people!More

The view is fantastic. Overlooking the Marina in Front Street and even with the rain falling they were able to leave all of the windows open for an open air feel. The menu is bizarre. Limited and only raw seafood items for entree. Main courses...were better for choice but at nearly $50 for snapper and ordinary at that was disappointing. The green salad at $9 looked like it was dehydrated and they forget to add water. Awful. We were also squeezed in at 6pm because supposedly fully booked. Would have been lucky to be half full by the time we left at 7.30!! Don’t bother .More

We visited this restaurant with the intent of choosing the seafood platter but our experience was dampened before we even received any food. We took our 4 year old grandson. He was well behaved just playing some games on our phone when the manager asked...us to turn down the volume so it wouldn’t disturb other diners. We could hardly hear it so there was no chance diners at other tables would have been able to. We felt like leaving at this point. We would certainly never allowed him to have the volume loud. The platter was quite nice although overpriced. We have had much better value at other restaurants. However the waitstaff were very attentive and friendly (apart from the manager) and they are certainly a main feature of this restaurant.More

I had a smallest size barramundi and my friend had tiny whitening fish dishes, although it’s fine dining which slaps you with its outrageous attitude, it tasted okay but not the one you go back

Fabulous seafood restaurant. Friendly greeting and service. Can be prebooked so no need to wait for a table. Very well ventilated so you can be cool enough to enjoy your food, which was excellent on both visits. Very enjoyable.

Had a nice seafood platter at mariners. No problem with food and service but the atmosphere all felt a bit sterile - table well spaced, large areas of void space- and consequently no buzz about the restaurant. Sure some people would prefer that but for...us there was just something missing to our experienceMore

Everything was outstanding, food, service, atmosphere. Wow wow wow. Went to a few of the restaurants on the island and this was up there with the best. Will be back for sure next time we come to the island

Mariners was our most expensive and least favourite meal on the Island. The pros: loved the Tuna tartare, service was outstanding and the setting is stunning. The cons: didn't love the barramundi, the red snapper, the sauce on the broccolini and the salad.
