It's fantastic. Great food, perfect service, quiet and relaxing location. Menu choice is awesome. My daughter had her wedding reception there a couple of years ago and all the guests raved about the food and service. We keep going back.

We had a family celebration here last week. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals with the slow cooked goat getting the double thumbs up. Staff were efficient, friendly and appropriately attentive. Will become a regular here now we know how great it is.

This is the second time I have been here. Staff are attentive without being overpowering. Menu was good. It might be nice to see an Italian Pinot Grigio added to the wine list. The Aus and NZ selection is not too bad regarding whites.

Can't compliment this meal enough. Not a lot of choice but that didn't matter as the meals that we all ordered were just brilliant. Pure quality. Great quality of produce that was cooked very well. Just beautiful!! Good choices of wine also.

Always memorable, always exceptional. Having dined here on many occasions both for events, lunches and dinners I can honestly say that this restaurant should be on every visitor to Townsville's must do list. Five Stars

The menu had something for everyone and every dish had a surprise element and evoked discussion and comparison amongst the other guests. The staff were attentive and did everything possible to make it a special night for the guest of honour.

Simply one of the best restaurants in Townsville. Has a sophisticated yet relaxed ambience by the river and in the city centre. The owner Mark and his team serve delicious, expertly presented meals that would be at home in Sydney, London or Paris...and yes I've...More

We have been going to A Touch of Salt for a number of years now for Family Celebrations. It's my wife's favourite "gobto" place for her birthday every year, and for our anniversary every July. The staff have always been accommodating there, and are all...More
