It's big enough for plenty of dining/drinking views. The menu had a lot of options, but you had to pick your moment to order your food from the window - with only one staff member taking orders/money. At times the queue was excessively long, with...More

Good feed for lunch a couple of times this week. Basic food but done well enough for a pub. Nice staff and location

Waited for 45-50 mins for a couple of steaks, and when the steaks arrived they were overlooked. Very disappointed. Staff were not very apologetic. Had better and wouldn't return. Shame cause the hotel is situated in a great spot.

We usually would come here if out for a drink as relaxed and good entertainment. Had a meal upstairs on the balcony which we enjoyed but did notice drinks a little pricey. I think they could improve on the meal ordering system if you are...More

Good fresh pub food. Have a variety of meals available from local seafood to steaks, starters, kids and share plates. They can get quite busy but service is generally pretty prompt.

Dropped in for a Margarita to start our holiday and we weren't disappointed at all. Friendly bar staff, really nice drinks and wonderful outlook. Would highly recommend.

Description
The Courty as it has become affectionately known, is the oldest pub in Port Douglas and one of the most iconic pubs in Australia.

We are located on the corner of Macrossan St (Port’s main street) and Wharf St (overlooking Anzac Park and the harbour). Behind the magnificent heritage Queenslander façade and wide open verandas is a much-loved full-offering local pub.

This relaxed and welcoming neighbourhood pub is perfect for lunch, dinner, drinks or a night out on the town. Tailor your own experience at the Courty; whether it is casual large lunches with the whole family, afternoon cocktails in the sun with friends, a much-deserved cold beer, quiet corners for a quick bite to eat or late night celebrations on the open air verandas.
