After a week of over priced sea food i was hanging out for a beef curry and Siam by the sea was great. excellent portion size, good value. BYO. choice of seating, on the street or inside away from the crowd. we also had the full barra, sweet and sour pork and red chicken curry. all excellent.

We started going to Siam By The Sea when holidaying in Port Douglas. Now permanent residence, it is our favourite Thai restaurant. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the service is excellent. The food is fantastic, especially their duck dishes. The mixed entree is great, and if you love scallops, the chef's special is a must have. Highly recommended... More

If you like seafood, try the sizzling seafood plate! Plentiful seafood with bold flavors. Food isn't very spicy and the seasoning/taste doesn't seem very "authentic" but it's still good in its own way. The fried chicken was surprisingly good. The staff all were very helpful and friendly. One big surprise was the pink lemonade; it's vivid pink. Taste isn't too... More

This is a very food restaurant. Staff are frirndly, some have limited english but try to help as much as they can. We had spring rolls and scollops for starters and tom yum soup, garlic prawn stir fry, pad thai and prawn red curry. Every dish tasted fabulous. This is a place you should definitely go to visit during your... More

Recently had dinner here. It was nice weather so perfect as it has a very open feel to it. Some different choices but also your standard dishes. A touch pricer than your average thai but not unreasonable and well worth it for the location/atmosphere. Really tasty food and good wine list as well which was very reasonably priced. Overall id... As we did not have a booking we decided to try Siam by the Sea as we walked past the other Siam restaurant in Macrossan Street and remembered that that was a BYO, to our delight we got the last table available. Although very busy in the restaurant and outside we were served our tasty meals speedily and politely. Would... More

Went for an evening meal with the husband and three year old. Had an early reservation and it was packed out when we got there so glad we called ahead. Had been past during the day and it really didn't stand out but in the evening, all lit up it was really atmospheric. Wonderful food, reasonable prices and good service.... More

The restaurant is super busy and there's a reason for that. The food is very good. We went out of our way and ate three courses. Try their desserts! They're awesome :-)
