I've been going to Port for the last 12 years and this hidden gem still continues to excite. You are better going earlier in the week (mondays/ Tuesdays) when it is quieter and less chance of being closed for a private function (as was the...More

This spot has been a regular haunt of mine for over 20 years. The food is still good and great value. The ambience is very relaxing. My advice to the owners is that they should expand their selection of beers to include the many fantastic...More

Hi Micheal, I would love to have a more extensive range of Beers, however the size of the Coolroom dictates otherwise. For those of you who are reading this review don't be alarmed, our Beer range includes; Asahi, Becks, Boags premium, Boags premium light, Carlton...More

Another highlight of our Port Douglas trip. Similar setup to Tin Combined Club but executed much nicer; less busy being further out of town but well worth the walk/drive. The bartender reminded me of bartender in the movie Passengers, and I mean this as a big...More

Came here for a drink around sunset. Nice water views. But beware the sandflies! If you sit at a table on the grassy area you will be bitten. The itching lasted for days!

This used to be a reliable provider of basic but hearty meals in a lovely location on the water. In more recent times they have tried to move upmarket. The location is still great, but they don't have the kitchen skills or front-of-house polish to...More

Ermo Boy, The Port Douglas Yacht Club is still as you say a provider of good hearty meals. The menu has changed due to a new incoming Chefs whom understand our demographic well. When you say up market, the price point is still the same?...More

We visited here on our first night in Port Douglas as we just wandered down main Street and didn't see anything we liked so kept heading to the water to soak up the views. The food was better than just "cheap and cheerful" with my...More

We were up in Port Douglas for a work trip and returned each night to the Yacht club. We almost ate our way through the whole menu and we're impressed with every bite. Amazing Asian flavours were carried through a lot of the dishes but...More

Lacked atmosphere, ordinary service anda decent walk from town that doesn't have any rewards at the end.posibly the worst dip platter ever served. One of the dips was so dry that even if you received a knife you wouldn't have been able to spread it on...More

Hi Peter, You arrived at the Club between lunch and dinner which is probably why it "lacked atmosphere" as it was between dining periods. You came straight to the bar where i greeted you with a smile and served you a couple of drinks. You...More

Looking to book for Christmas meal I am spending Christmas in port Douglas with my daughter and we are looking to book to have a nice meal on Christmas Day. Have you got a menu available for this day, and is there any reviews from people who have dined here Christmas Day?

Hi there, The Club is closed on Christmas Day due to licensing restrictions and public holiday wages for staff prevent us from operating profitably. Regards,

The yacht club is a little away from main drag. There is Accom right next to it. But heaps of Accom within a 10 min walk. Just choose anything in port Douglas centre.
