Popped in on Tuesday evening and although a number of vacant tables was asked to take a seat in the lounge - had to ask where that was located? Service was prompt & efficient but lacked the personal touch as not even a ' how...More

Four us us dined there for lunch on Thursday this week. Wow! The lunch special is great value at only $30, which includes a glass of wine and 2 yummy courses. Do yourself a favour and try it out.

Bel Cibo delivers a relaxing and classy ambiance, yet very good value for money. Overlooking Macrossan St on a beautiful veranda setting ensures you feel part of the buzz, but also enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Once our order was taken service was prompt. Meals were...More

Been here twice now, once for lunch which I would rate 3 stars and dinner last night which was 4 star. Duck salad was my highlight and the Aglio the low which needed much more flavour to be the great dish it should be. Waitresses...More

Great spot to watch the passers by, listen to the birds and drink in the sunshine. Service was prompt and very professional. Go at lunchtime when you can soak it all in. I'd recommend ordering the fancier things on the menu, we enjoyed those but...More

Our best meal in Port Douglas so far and one of the best Italian meals we have had in a long time. The main course came out a bit to soon for our liking after our entree but Jeanette, one of the managers, was more...More

Sorry, I'm unaware of what you are implying I have no part in any witch hunt of messages toward you I do not know a Dazza. I can take constructive criticism quite fine, thank you. It's people's personal preferences that... More
Having reviewed the negative reviews of this restaurant it is clear the owner cannot take any criticism at all. Maheno - OCT 2015 wrote that she was unhappy as they were charged for a side dish that came after the meal wash finished and the owner stated she must be mistaken it cannot be his restaurant. Impossible for such a thing to happen in HIS restaurant. He then goes on to try and shift the blame onto ANOTHER restaurant!? I wrote a bad review for my experience at this restaurant earlier in the year and the owner attacks me for it. Even attacking my appearance in my profile pic! @ KiwiChef, people are entitled to write their opinions and complain if they have had a bad experience. Your response to those opinions and complaints reflects your customer service skills, your ability to take and handle criticism and just your general maturity. You attack every person who has a negative opinion about their experience at your restaurant. I'm sure if I go again I might have a better or even a perfect experience, but the time I visited I didn't and you shouldn't attack people who don't praise you, your food, staff and venue. Last thing, it's extremely low and scummy behavior to try and blame another restaurant for a bad review YOU received (as mentioned above). You actually say of the bad review "there is another Italian Restaurant in Port Douglas - Bucci, they seem to have many negative reviews on their TA page about food & service.I agree with you & just cannot fathom that happening here.Ciao" I notice it is not the first time you try to blame this restaurant. I'll be letting them know so they can report you. I'm sure you're going to have a charming and professional response ready for me after hearing some hard truth. I feel sorry for the poor staff member you're going to force to reply to this. I hope people catch on to you. Kiwi "Chef".
