I note a few adverse reviews over the past years, so perhaps consistency is a problem. We were 3 looking for breakfast en route to the airport. I had eggs benedict and the two other fellas had toasted ham and cheese sandwiches. Food was great, coffee was very good and the price was reasonable. The establishment is nice and clean... More

Agree that Byblos is not the cheapest but we always hang out to eat here when we are in Cairns. The American sandwich is simple but so tasty and we have only ever had good service.

They stated gourmet sandwiches but it was a poor selection of basic toasties with classic names at 9,90 each. The fries were oven cooked but only just, not crispy nor browned. Disappointed.

Our plane landed in Cairns at around 4.30am so before I left I searched for places that would be open around an hour or so after than this and Found Byblos advertising on online sites opening at 6.30am Even here at Trip Advisor) so we decided on this. After sorting our hire car we had a look around Cairns and... More

Byblos Cafe was a stand-out amongst all the places eaten at during a recent holiday to Cairns. The falafel roll was only $7 and was fresh and delicious. The nammoura (and all the lovely-looking Lebanese desserts!) were also highlights. I preferred eating in the pleasant outdoor courtyard.

I don't get it with these unkind reviews, I found this cafe to be excellent (especially the blonde waitress at its previous digs), The place is efficient, friendly, marvellous value, and the boss looks like Fred Mercury. I'm up from Melbourne in August every year and would push over that huge monument in Martyn park if Byblos ever closed. -Best... More

Service received was terrible, my coffee tasted like dishwater, when I politely advised the staff member he was totally rude. Menu is limited and unexciting. Wouldn't go back.

Byblos has now opened up new cafe on the corner of Aplin & Grafton Street, Being that they are literally a 2 minute walk from our office, my colleagues and I were pleased to know there was a cafe quite close to us. Unfortunately though ALL my colleagues that I have spoken to have not been pleased with what they... More

The service was quick & the breakfast was cooked nicely. The coffee is ok but not any better than anywhere else around the place. Pricing is fair at $12 for a basic English breakfast & a coffee. I would come back if I was in need of a quick meal.

Best latte in cairns. The falafel on pita Bread was exactly what I expected. Open kitchen means you can see everything made freshly in front of you. Air conditioned in summer time and free wifi to patrons with the Bigpond connection.
