We were staying around the corner and looking for somewhere reasonably close for a meal and this was the closest "local". Good reviews from well travelled Trip Advisors also made this and easier decision. However, before I continue, I must mention that my daughter brought up an interesting fact towards the end of our meal and that was we didn't... More

Nice relax atmosphere in this bar-restaurant. The crocodile and kangooroo sausages are worth the try. They were good, not that expensive (more than regular meat of course), and I couldnt find them in many places. Also have a pool table, darts, gambling machines and pockies nights!

The décor was unique, with animal heads and full size marlin adorning walls and suspended from ceilings. The food selection was quite extensive and the servings were massive. You couldn't possibly leave the tavern hungry. Had a great alfresco dining area.

We visited in a busy Saturday night and the place was packed. The menu is extensive and is usual pub fare - bangers and mash, burgers, steaks, fish and chips, grills. A kids menu provides for littlies. The patio area provides a quieter option. What is off-putting is the massive size of the meals. While value for money is great,... More

Myself and my fiance went to the Cock and Bull on a particularly hungry evening and got exactly what we came for. This is not fine dining, it will not dazzle your pallet with delicate spices and subtle nuances. It's meat. Loads of meat. For your face. The service style is ordering at the bar and picking your own seat.... More

Had a great dinner here with my son. He had ribs and I had fresh reef fish. Both were equally delicious but massive sizes. We probably could have shared a plate given the amount we left! Great atmosphere and well worth the visit if your in town

This pub is located north of the busy downtown, just a block behind the hospitals. It has inside and outside seating areas, but the inside is classic pub. Meals are cheaper at lunch but servings are still huge. Great value for your money.

We went for dinner, beautiful food and huge portions. If you want no frills pub grub then this is the place. Staff were friendly and helpful too. We'll definitely be back.
