Service was fast and the food was excellent. We had the bucket of prawns and prawn salad, both of which were delicious! It was an atmospheric location and a well patronised venue!

It's a famous Pub in Brisbane and is mentioned in a Midnight Oil song but it is just Pub Food and there much better options, very large and impersonal

I think this is one of the best places for dinner in Brisbane. Cold beer, great food and fun atmosphere for watching a rugby match. Tough to beat for sure. Not the cheapest, but with a visit. Hint, XXXX beer in the wood barrel is really good, but it doesn't last long.

It was great to visit the Breakfast Creek Hotel again on a recent trip to Brisbane, which was a "local" when I worked nearby about four years ago. The best part is - nothing has changed, the menu is the same (and the steaks are to die for, better than the best steakhouse), you can still get a beer "off... More

If you like a place that has a great vibe, full of people enjoying huge plates of deliciousness then the breakfast creek hotel is where you need to be. Went with friends and had a booked table which is the smaller part of their restaurant and has table service. You can also choose to line up in the huge garden... More

we were a couple, joining a few others for a xmas meal on a Friday evening. Crammed in on trestle tables so you could only speak to a limited selection of the party I guess was to be expected. Queuing so long for a beer in the Friday rush was too, although it settled down a couple of hours later.... More

Hotel is well worth a look. Some beautiful old timber. Lunch was expensive for an average pub meal but sitting in the courtyard with a cold beer on a hot day with a breeze blowing through, was heaven. Staff and service good.

A great spot to grab a bite to eat and a drink or five in one of the many restaurants within Brekky creek. Plenty of people watching to be had to take in the sites and sounds of all going about their business. Sports on the big screens on a couple of the bars and really good food. A nice... More

Description
The Staghorn Garden is a Queensland institution, thanks to its relaxed, subtropical ambiance and lush landscaping. It boasts stunning timber decks which create an artful, soft separation between the food and bar businesses. The entire area is light, bright and inviting, merging seamlessly with an eight metre high breezeway structure that links the heritage listed Hotel building to the Substation No.41 building. An open kitchen and servery is situated on one side of the breezeway, where patrons are able to choose their own steak from the chilled cabinet, in classic Brekky Creek tradition. The hotel is renowned for introducing Beer Garden style dining to Queensland. The Brekky Creek continues to hold this tradition proud as the Staghorn Beer Garden offers the very best in casual outdoor dining. The Staghorn Beer Garden boasts seating for over 500 people.
