Classic Valley club. Pretty good music. Drinks are expensive, but normal for the valley. Cool dance floor.

I spent my last night in Brisbane here. I worked in Australia and this is the only night that I danced. Surely is a good place to go to dance. I found good music. Surely it isn't luxury discotheque. It is frequented by people around...20 years old.More

For Melbourne Cup this year The Flying Cock offered two options, one was a package deal in The Coop bistro and the second was the option we went with. We spent the afternoon in the upstairs area watching the race on a big projector screen....The staff behind the bar were very nice and patient with our large group trying to make up their minds. There is a large variety of sides plus mains meals to enjoy, it's not all chicken. Having said that though the house fried chicken, cauliflower wings, Chock A Box and Big Rooster Boxes were massive hits among our group. Please note if you are getting the 400g rump steak do not fill yourself up on sides beforehand. They mean when they say the steak is not for the Faint-Hearted!More

2 parmies for $20 on a Wednesday, tasty and huge portions. Sauce was a bit spicy but great value. Get in early as it gets busy but no complaints about the food, service or atmosphere.

Pros: - no TV in the main room!!! - has a certain charm for Australian standards - food was ok - reasonably priced Cons: - still has some kind of corporate atmosphere

Table for 20 in the dining side of TFC. A couple of us shared the chips and wings which were spot on. Other guests loved their burgers and chips too. They have a happy hour which helped with the budget lol. Staff were extremely helpful...and enthusiastic setting up the cake etc and great service overall. Went to the club side of TFC later that night and live band were pretty mint. Had a deejay too who was great! Great for dinner and drinks. Also pretty cool place to dance away into the night.More
