I am sure the Duck Liver Pate was made in house, but it might as well have come from a jar. Escargot were tasteless and the garlic was old, bread crumbly and bland. Barramundi was ok, but no idea what the crust was. All were...More

Good friends, good food, good wine, what more could you ask for. The Terrine was yummy and easily fed both of us. My steamed Mussels were delicate, cooked just right and delicious. My wife enjoyed the Poached Barramundi which she commented was the best she...More

Service good. Great venue and outlook. Ordered the sous vide pork tenderloin thinking it would be tender after the water bath. It came luke warm and charred across the top of the meat and certainly not tender. It tasted very burnt. When I advised the...More

Went to Aquitaine Brasserie as it came highly recommended from the hotel I was staying at in Brisbane. What a disappointment. Escargot, which I was so excited about, were overcooked and tasteless, and that beautiful garlic and parsley oil that they are normally served with...More

Went on Saturday 20/05/2017 expecting an amazing meal - the coq au vin I had previously was one of the best meals I've had! Unfortunately the new menu does not really compare, particularly for the price. The entree was bland - I had the escargot...More

I'm interested in purchasing a picnic hamper for a friend and her husband following the birth of their twin daughters. Can I purchase a gift voucher for the hamper and nominate a $ figure, e.g. $150 and leave it up to them for when they're available to have the picnic?

ABOUT AQUITAINE BRASSERIE Inspired by L'Aquitaine in South West France, this river side dining experience brings together a journey from the Farm House to the Champs Elysees. The contemporary French menu is based on classic French recipes and is brought to life with fresh local produce and modern cooking techniques. Our Head Chef Sam Lonsdale has created a perfectly balanced menu that will appeal to all discerning diners. The wine list intrigues with the positioning of French and local wines together in a regional styles, categorised by palate characteristics rather than varietals. The cocktail list and spirit selection has a real French influence, while Aquitaine maintains an agreement to see direct importing of French produced Kronenbourg draft beer. Aquitaine sits between Popolo Italian Kitchen and Stokehouse Q at River Quay, South Bank, Brisbane and ads a real touch of French class to this thriving riviera.
