I have eaten at many highly rated restaurants but this one has been one of my favourites. The food was spectacular and the location amazing. We had the degustation which did not disappoint. Every course was not only tasty but was beautifully presented. The flavour...More

I like an eatery that provides a dining experience without resorting to too much gimmickry, all within an elegant 12 course gastronomic surprise. It starts with a wafer of water buffalo jerky, a strangely sweet and savoury potato crisp, and a glass of lemonade laced with...More

We love Esquire. From the decor, the priceless view, super star wait staffs to beautifully executed degustation menu. The fact that fine dinning in Brisbane seemsmore relax and slightly more casual than Sydney and Melbourn is refreshing. Will be back if having the chance.

'Esquire' makes an impression from the time you step in. Decor is subdued but interesting, leaving the main visual attraction the view across the river to the Story Bridge. If there was background music, we were unaware of it - and count that a plus....More

I'm a degustation fan and was looking forward to this. Debated between 3 and 4 stars. In a nutshell the service was excellent and the food was interesting. Probably wouldn't go back as the flavours and order were often confused and not a great deal...More

My husband surprised me with a dinner out for my birthday and I was delighted when he walked me into Esquire. Within three minutes of sitting down, our first course was on the table. The sommelier then came over and started us on the flight...More

We enjoyed all the food, from the crispy jerky, truffle pie, coconut sorbet, Dutch cream agnolotti, pork jowl with crispy pineapple and lots of other courses in between. The serving sizes were perfect, not too big and the service was excellent and the food came...More

Hi AussiePen, yes they do cater for coeliacs however you will need to let them know in advance. Saying that we walked in and made the request(bearing in mind it's a set menu) and they asked us to have a seat at the bar not... More
