Excellent food and draught Japanese beer. Particularly enjoyed the sashimi and gyoza. Only let down - the full menu on the website was not available.

Really wishing I could give this place a better review. We have both eaten here before and has had some really fresh dishes. Perhaps today wasn't their day as the fish still had skin and sinew left on it and was flavourless. The crispy skin salmon pieces were hit and miss. Some pieces were nicely cooked others to the point... More

Went there with my girlfriend for a quiet dinner while incredibly hung over. The atmosphere was really nice and calm/quiet. Everyone gets their own little private booth. You don't need to actually talk to anyone there, you do all your ordering through the touch screen (no waiting for waiters to come around and ask for your order). Drinks were served... More

Dropped in after work on a Friday night. Had a cute little booth and service was excellent. Ordered ramen and gyoza. Ramen was pretty good - broth was a good consistently not too oily but you can definitely taste the chicken in the broth. Nevertheless really tasty broth. The noodles were not as nice as other places (reminded me of... More

Great presentation of food ordered via touch screen with pictures that look very much like the real thing. Had the seared salmon and scallops, agedashi tofu, salmon sashimi, assorted sushi plate and a beef meal. The salmon & scallops was delicious - the others just so. Visited on a Saturday at lunch where we drove up from the Gold Coast... More

Meal out with friends and family, as they had been before and said it's good. Never had sushi before so thought what the hell. A selection of dishes all good bar one. The Miso eggplant...burnt, tough skin, and so much oil that I thought that the Ewing family were going to start drilling. (yes that dates me)

Ordered a variety of different Japanese dishes and desserts. All very tasty. Some was small in size and some large. 7 adults with plenty of food and drinks was $245. Good value, good food and great experience

Went there for lunch with a group of 6. The environment is nice and clean with fast order however the meal was dissapointing. We ordered salmon sashimi, set noodle bowl, curry rice bento and soft-shell crab salad. Sashimi were okay but not the best, the noodles were not the same quality that we had in Champion Noodles or Hakayama. Soup... More

This place is definitely overrated! The food does not taste good at all! Service was poor as well! We won't be back!

We had a weekday lunch at Wagaya and decided to try the bento box specials. Other times we have been there we have had various dishes from the menu ordered from an ipad at your table. The bento boxes were big and delicious. I highly recommend and if you are going for dinner you must book otherwise you might be... More

Description
This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon
