We went to celebrate a birthday last night and was some what disappointed. For a hefty price tag$370 for two adults and two teenagers the food failed to impress. We had the set menu at $88pp, though some dishes were great a majority of the meal failed to 'wow' us. We kept getting told spicy this and spicy that but... More

Came here without a reservation on a Friday night and was immediately taken care of by Steve and staff. Great Japanese contemporary experience that even our 12 year old (and picky) daughter liked. Would definitely recommend this to anyone liking Japanese!!

Great restaurant for people with food allergies lots of options for coeliac disease. Great variety of seating options and very atmospheric. Great menu selections, fantastic wait staff and delicious food. Only downside that makes it a special occasion restaurant is the expense of the food and the alcohol.

We recently dined here with a medium sized group and we ordered dishes to share. Everyone loved all the dishes from memory. The food was well presented, beautifully fresh and tasty and healthy! Providing you don't opt for tempura that is... But tempura is a must on the menu! The menu was very good and varied without being over the... More

Thanks for the great service and wonderful food Scott, Alex and Dana. Always a pleasure to dine at Sake. This is my first visit to Sake Brisbane after having enjoyed the restaurant at Hamer Hall in Melbourne. I wasn't disappointed.

Deffinately not as good as the sake restaurants in Sydney! The salmon sashimi still had the grey fat on it which totally ruins the taste. The venison carparcio was cut very thick to be described a 'carparcio' However the service was faultless and so were to cocktails

Went here for a family lunch on a Saturday, just for something different than the usual family fare. The dishes are made to share, and brought out as soon as they are ready from the kitchen. Very good menu selection, plenty of variety. The staff were excellent, our waitress was very patient (with the kids) and extremely helpful. If not... More

A business dinner at sake was a great experience. food was amazing and hot sake was at its best taste. Was difficult entering without a reservation but we got in. Incredible ambiance. well lit and color combination and table decor stood up to a fine dining experience. Only negative element was the service by a particular steward who served us.... More

We took the grand babies here for their mother's birthday. An outstanding experience. The staff were great with the kids especially as this is not place that kids would normally go. The food is fabulous - Japanese with a twist. Superb setting. Good but expensive wine list. Food is reasonably priced. Great sparkler accompanying the desserts to celebrate the birthday.... More

Cocktail we had were average, service was great. we drank beer with our meals. Everything was cooked nicely and the ingredients were left to shine but notwhere near the calibre of other fine dining experienced... More
