Only by virtue of location this place got our business. Pho soup tasteless, salt and pepper tofu greasy and fried rice cold. Satay chicken very average. All that plus 2 drinks came to almost $80. Wish we had went elsewhere.

For some reason Australians seem to love their soup super thick, almost like a purée, so I was deeply yearning for a soup with plenty of broth. An Asian dinner seemed like the perfect answer. When I went to eat at PhoB, there was a public projection of a movie in the street, so I got to eat my delicious... More

This place gets an automatically fail for having a $15 eftpos minimum. Meaning I wasn't able to just get a single dish takeaway without walking off and finding an atm or buying something else. It's 2016 people. Most retailers let you eftpos these days for any amount. In the old days card payment came at a cost to retails which... More

I went in on a cold Saturday night looking for delicious beef pho. The resto was almost full mostly with young Caucasians (it was the school break). One table with Asian students and another one with Asian family. When the beef pho arrived, it looks watery, not enough herbs, and I have more fingers on my right hand than the... More

Stopped by here for lunch and had a chicken phone which found to be quite good a little dearer than usual at 13.80 buy still fresh and huge bowl made with beautiful breast meat. Unfortunately my husband wanted a Laksa but when he tasted it was more like a Tom yum. Once again a large bowl but not a Laksa... More

Vietnamese should not cook Malaysians. Their Laksa was more of a Hot and sour or Tong Yum, it lacked Coconut milk and the only ingredients were noodles, onion and chicken. The service was also poor with attitude from the staff

A casual style restaurant, seating inside with a few tables outside looking out to China Town. The menu is very large and quiet extensive. Food is fresh, piping hot and comes out very quickly. Added bonus is that they serve bubble tea! I had seafood laska, portion sizes are great and you can ask for a mild laska!

We ordered wonton soup and seasonal vegetables as we were keen for a light meal. When we opened the bag there was oil everywhere! And a fat layer of oil in our soup and the veg was only one type also oily.. Dissatisfied!!

Average Vietnamese restaurant, average price. Big bowls of soup like all Vietnamese restaurants with a propensity to throw food down on the table in a miserable manner (except for the soup) not cheap, not expensive and it is possible to find better in China town with some luck and research. Suddenly turning up some "Justin Beiber" sounding music to full... More
