Things didn't start well: our waiter solicitously asked what food(s) we could not/did not eat and then the kitchen sent out amuses bouche made of exctly that! Extremely overpriced, ungenerous portions of salty food. And very expensive.

We walked in without a booking on Sunday night, all 5 staff who helped us through the night were excellent and could not be faulted. The entrees were in the mid $30's and mains, mid $50's, and desserts $23-25. You could also have the four or seven course tasting menu for $130 or $175 each. We just had the duck... More

Totally amazing food and so well presented. Loved the little macaroons we were given at the end of the night. Great location with beautiful views over the river.

Atmosphere and service were terrific, however, we left disappointed with the meal. The menu was limited and in some cases the prices were outrageous. The entree of pork cheek a prime example. ( A small amount of pork cheek, a very small amount of sauce and a section of avocado for $38?) We dined at Aria about 6 years ago... More

Everything was perfect. The food was a range of flavours that complimented each other. The decor was simply elegant as was the food. It was truly fine dining! Not one complaint!

The food is good but very expensive with wine and 3 courses for 2 around $350 so a special occasion place. Get the tables one table back from the window or you have everyone walking passed staring at you.

We visited Aria Brisbane for our baby free date night, wanting to do something special and were not disappointed. From the get go all of the staff were impeccable in their hospitality, knowledge and service. I can not commend our waiter 'Michael' enough for his professionalism and for bringing just the right amount of sass to add some laughter to... More

Description
ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia
