Great coffee, friendly local team. Meals are pretty good, although I myself often just get the bacon, egg & haloumi roll which I really enjoy with my coffee at breakfast. A small area for kids at the back and dog friendly. I often take my little fury mate for a walk and coffee stop. Great local place.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast ... what a wonderful surprise. Local organic produce and a great range. We had the big brekky and I couldn't finish all of mine ... staff friendly and engaging ...would come here again in a heartbeat.

If you’re after great coffee and service then here’s where you find it!
I stop in regularly for a quick breakfast and caffeine fix and it’s always consistent, prompt and served with a smile no matter how busy they are.

I have stopped multiple times at Rose & Edward for either a coffee, a green smoothie (which they don't sell anymore!!!) and at times food.
When I first started going there I loved the way they made their coffee; it reminded so much of Canberra (in a good way!). However, during the last six months, their coffee has not been as enjoyable as they use to be. They even made me the wrong coffee once and only noticed when I got to work :/. So since then, I have stopped going there, which is a shame. I also bought their green smoothie and noticed about two months ago it was no longer on sale. Rose & Edward seem to change their menu, but I don't see it advertised anywhere! "New Summer Menu!" or things like that.
I do like where it is located because even though it is on a busy road, you can always find parking, and if you need a new pair of shoes, there is a footwear shop right next to it!.

Another delight to be found on Maygar Street is Rose and Edward Expresso. The coffee is fantastic, probably because it is from Elxir, but you have to know how to make it too. They have great Breakfast and Lunch time items for a nice light meal. They keep things very simple and the venue is surprisingly quiet.
Great value, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Windsor locals are very lucky.

My favourite place to go for coffee/brunch! They have a kids area and the people that run the place make you feel like you are apart of their family ❤️

Love this place. Coffee is always excellent, and the food appeals to a wide range of people ( grandparents and children and adults). Good kids area to play while you're enjoying coffee.

We went with a family group of 8. It was a Sunday morning and service was a bit slow - but one of the regulars thought that they were one staff member down.
The food was very good and the coffee great. It is obviously a very popular spot for the locals and the passing cyclists.

Having gone here weekly for the last few years it's clear to see we simply adore Rose and Edward.
The staff are so friendly and chatty, they feel like family now. On the occasions we take our little dachshund the staff are more than accomodating and quick to give him a treat. The food is really yummy and priced very well, as is the coffee. Service is prompt and always with a smile. Everything you want in your local coffee shop!

Love this place. We have coffee here at least 3 times a week. The staff are excellent, the coffee is brilliant and on the rare occasions we eat here the food is fantastic too.

I have eaten here a few times. Good food and coffee and they will make variations for vegetarians. Inside and exterior seating. Street parking on busy road.

Can only comment on coffee and service but both are excellent. I love the almond milk they use, coffee is always good and service is excellent. Good amount of seating with room for prams (very important to me!)
Fantastic local, I'm so pleased this is my closest café, it's fantastic.

Rose and Edward has been there for a while, so it was well and truly time to suss it out. It is surprisingly large inside, a bit Tardis-like. There is an undercover area plus a small courtyard out the back. The charming lady staff member brought us water and menus tout suite, and even though it is counter service, she took our coffee orders at the same time. The Favourite is a fabulous dish of chunky parmesan hash cake, smoked salmon, asparagus, poached egg and house made hollandaise sauce. And it's gluten free if you're worried about that sort of thing. This really hit the spot! The asparagus was nice and crunchy (in a good way), the egg only a tiny bit overcooked (sorry guys) and everything fresh and filling. The sauce was light and flavourful; always a plus when house made too.
We would both happily go back again to try more of the dishes. I love the sound of the Nutella and raspberry porridge, and the chicken breast wrap. Oh and we spotted a well-known face down the back - Mr C. Newman (former Premier) himself, doing a bit of business. just a fun and cosy place for a great coffee and good food.

There is an undercover area plus a small courtyard out the back. It has been said before that mm mm I have rather a loud voice, so when we entered, heads turned. The charming lady staff member brought us water and menus tout suite, and even though it is counter service, she took our coffee orders at the same time. The coffee is Elixir which is a roasting house close by (in fact, we can smell it from our house), and I think is one of the best coffee brands in town. We both enjoyed our drinks, and Miss ID loved her pretty fern art.

Have a great coffee and a tasty meal here any day of the week.
