It wasn’t easy, but we eventually found Masuya Japanese Seafood Restaurant after part of our team went to a similar sounding restaurant at a different location. Likewise, when we arrived, the restaurant hosts expected us to join a large table that was partially occupied by...More

It is not surprising that this place is popular with the staff of the Japanese consulate across the road. They serve good quality fresh and well-presented sushi and sashimi. They know their sake; There is an interesting and varied sake list. We have eaten there...More

We popped in here for a casual lunch. I was looking forward to slow cooked pork because I know they do a bento box containing that meat. There was too much for me to eat and it was all very good quality. A great selection...More

This used to be THE best Japanese restaurant in Sydney. There are new managers and staff. What was a warm welcome when we arrived early for our regular pre-concert meal is now: "we are having a confidential staff meeting. You may not wait in our...More

My wife and I had a set menu, sat at the Sushi counter, and enjoyed such a wonderful meal prepared by the head chef, all for a very reasonable price of $50 a person. Produce was very fresh. Very delicious.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years and it continues to be great Japanese food. The menu is good and the food fresh and reasonably priced for Japanese. However recently have noticed many staff are now Chinese and Korean and the service...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
