Nice place to grab sushi from a conveyor belt. The place was quite busy for lunch but we were seated after waiting for just a few minutes. One can order directly from the sushi chefs for items not on the belt. Servers were very attentive, as well.

This is an exceptional sushi train. A friend of mine took me here for lunch a few days ago. There is a great variety of dishes including some vegan choices if that’s what you’re into. The food was clean, fresh, Delicious. I will definitely be returning! We went during the week and there was a lineup so I can only imagine how busy this place gets on the weekend.

Simply, it's great. The food offerings are varied, fresh, delicious. Prices are good and varied depending on choices... lovely fresh seafood and tasty vego offerings. Service is friendly and quick.

So happy to see this place stay open for take away during the lockdown. I think the scallop aburi with egg mayo topping is my favourite comfort food of all time. Scallops aside, everything is quality here. Looking forward to many more visits with friends, family and on my own!

The food is probably ok, couldn't say. Ordered a large platter and a few other meals but only the drinks showed up. Enquired as to what happened to the food and was told stiff shlit. Don't bother

Very fresh fish (Salmon). Also a very nice atmosphere. Also was affordable. I had about 5 plates of various types of rolls/nigiri. Loved every bite.

Look, a sushi Train is a Sushi Train, the quality of the food is generally quite god and doesn't differ much store to store. However, this store offers more gluten free options and vegetarian + vegan options than most others. Perhaps this is due to the demographics of Newtown, but the store definitely caters for more complex dietary requirements. The wait isn't usually too long, and the staff are really friendly.

We had such a great time here. The sushi was all fantastic, and having it come by continually gives you a great chance to branch out from what you’re comfortable with. We would absolutely come back here if an when we’re back in Australia.

Located near the train station, this aptly named venue is perfect for your quick fix.
If you’re heading to the Enmore, come here for dinner beforehand however allow time as you may need to wait for a seat. You’re not the only one taking advantage of the quickness and ease of the place.
I’ve always found the quality of a high standard here, hence I also keep coming back if I’m in Newtown.

. The sushi is really fresh, flavorful and cheap. Great place for freshly made sushi., I've been eating here for the past 3 years and always for a quick lunch if I am around.

Simpler in offerings than another favourite sushi restaurant in Newtown, the food is fresh and delicious. When the seared scallops with egg mayo offerings were being put out, I tried one which was tantalisingly still warm and it was so delicious that I had four plates of it and skipped the rest!

It is what it is, however - when you work as a night owl and only come in after 9pm when the rush is gone the staff get to know your face after a while. So, next level I know I will always get my green tea, teriyaki chicken don and Yuzu ice cream without prompting. The train is smaller than most but the quality is uncompromised, if there is a wait it is minimal if 3pax or less compared to sushi trains in a higher traffic areas like the city (sans $3 plate day) as it is not on the king street buzz directly. Can get a bit cold down by the sliding doors in the winter as the draught comes screaming down the side streets and large groups 6pax or more are a no unless you don’t mind waiting or sitting side by sides as there is only one table that comfortably seats 4 pax.
