Good food, good value, quick service. All members of the family had something they all enjoyed! The decor could be improved and the restaurant was noisy.

Dear Madam/Sir, RE: Madang Korean Restaurant in Sydney is one of the popular places to eat and enjoy fabulous Korean cuisine and charcoal Barbique. The Korean drink soju is served and the sumptuous meal portion is by large the greatest in any restaurant. Thank You

Place was ultra busy which was a good thing, had to wait to get a table. Got a table upstairs which was a bit tight for room but the food was great.

We were craving some korean and saw this place had high ratings however didnt leave feeling too excited. We both got their dolsot bibimbap ($15) which is standard price and it tasted like every other bibimbap (nothing special) and we had to ask for refills to be done even though many of thr waiters were standing around doing nothing. Very standard korean food, overprice, the waiters quite rude and pretend not to hear. You can get a better quality and services at other place with the same price. The ambience was so so. No outdoor view.

Had dinner on Sunday night here at 7pm. We had to grab a number and join the queue. Typical Korean BBQ! You get 3 rounds of side dishes free but not many variety. Nothing super exciting. But they place seem to be very busy! They have high chairs available. BYO wine and champagne. Corkage is charged $4 per glass!

Off Pitt street inside a lane . Very noisy atmosphere and come out with smelly clothes and hair The side dishes has only 4 types and offer for 3 free refill . Ventilation is bad with all the BBQ smell . Marinated beef and streaky pork are alright but not fantastic BYO for wine only with corkage $4 per glass... More

Whenever we are in the city and feel like eating korean food, we go to Sydney Madang. Tonight we had our favourite yukhoe and fish roe bibimbap with extra cheese.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
