This is a great find. An extensive, authentic drinks menu to start. I then had beautiful garlic prawns and an enormous schnitzel, enough for two people. The food was authentic and delicious. Proved to be good value. Recommended.

Looking for a bit of German food with mega portions then think no more. Mine was a veggie dish and that was disappointing but I guess I did not expect great veg choices in this place. However the chicken schnitzel with its mushroom sauce was...More
This is an Austrian-German restaurant just off Macleay Street by Kings Cross. A huge selection of well priced central European meals. Very good prices. You should not miss this place
Excellent German food, veal schnitzel is big enough for two, nice atmosphere, excellent price . Quick access from any Potts Point hotel.
Large shnitzel covered in sauce (should have asked for it separately) which sadly wasn't very tasty. Rosti and salad pretty average. Husband has goulash which he loves but said it lacked a bit of umph! Cherry strudel dessert was frozen in the middle but nice.
Attentive staff, politeand helpful. The food was home style with generous servings (we had the chicken and veal schnitzels). Warm outdoor desalting with heaters. Would go back again.
Poor ambiance, sad service and the food is not what is advertised on the menu. Order the kassler which was just a piece of pork that was pan fried and smothered in salty gravy with a side of disgusting sauerkraut and soggy rösti. Won't be...More
Been going to Maggie's for several years now on average once a fortnight. Never had a bad meal. The food & service is very good and the food & wines are reasonably priced. We just keep going back.
I enjoyed a very nice Big brekkie delivered on Sunday morning from Maggie's. $12.90 very good value and cooked perfectly. I am looking forward to my next experience.
