We went to Café Sydney twice in our week in the capital, once on a normal weekend and once for their Valentine Day special. We even got a font row table on the roof terrace the second time although the view from all the balcony...More
Very disappointing. We had been sitting for 14 minutes when we ordered appetizers. We were then given “2 minutes” to decide on mains. Many different wait staff kept coming to our table and asking if we were ready. It seems that they try to get...More
You simply cannot beat the views....there it is : Bridge, Opera, cruise ships. The food was good...I had the salmon. It is pricey, so beware. What I couldn’t understand is that I would be in the middle of very important business discussions and negotiations, and...More
Went to Cafe Sydney last night. Been there many times before but last night was woeful.
4 of us paid $600 for our meal and drinks and I must say I was very disappointed.

We were so excited when we found this place, tucked away at the top of the beautiful old customs house. The restaurant itself is lovely and the views across the harbour are simply breathtaking. The service was on point too, sadly the food was a...More

The Views of Sydney Harbour are fantastic!
The Sydney Park Oysters were literally the best raw oysters I have ever had!!!
The ceviche, fish platter and salmon were all incredible! The salted Carmel chocolate ice cream dessert was also incredible!
I highly recommend this place!

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
Apologies for the delay, as your question has just hit my Inbox. This is a sophisticated restaurant, serving very high quality fodd. In this day and age I couldn’t imagine a restaurant of this quality being unable to serve... More
Apologies for the delay, as your question has just hit my Inbox. This is a sophisticated restaurant, serving very high quality fodd. In this day and age I couldn’t imagine a restaurant of this quality being unable to serve the needs of those who need gluten free food. Apologies I can’t give a definitive answer, but as I write I’m 10,000 miles from Sydney.
