If you are looking for a good beer in comfortable surroundings then the Redoak is a great call, foodwise I have mixed experiences but last visit was excellent- good pub food and good service.

A group of us went here & we were not disappointed. Service - friendly , fast and efficient. Food - many options and all were excellent meals. Beer - the varieties many of which we had never seen before.

Tucked away in Clarence Street, but convenient to bus stops. We were pleasantly greeted and offered dining in the beer/wine bar area or the restaurant/table service side. We chose the table service, but both options were enticing and the menus are the same in each. Relaxing atmosphere with plenty of speciality beers and locally sourced wines available. There were several... More

Had our Christmas party at Redoak last night. Fabulous atmosphere and food was great. Not really being a beer drinker I got into the cocktails - delicious! The staff were amazingly attentive and also added to the fun. What great people. Thanks so much especially to Shayna and Keiran.

We were recommended this place by some friends - we went for dinner on Saturday night which was very relaxed and a great atmosphere whilst very slick service from all the staff. My husband is a fan of beer so he loved all the variety and I had some lovely wine. The food was great if you are not looking... More

Revisited this Boutique Beer venue after a few years with a friend for beers and an early lunch. I recall the excellence range of craft beers on offer from earlier visits and tried a couple with their Fish & Chips. A decent F&B menu and a popular venue on Clarence Street based on the number of other patrons on a... More

We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday, the bar staff was non-existent and waited sometime before someone turn up. There was a few in the kitchen and other staff wandering but no one seems really interested, only one other couple inside and 3 people drink outside. I was keen to try the beer so settled on a pint their porter... More

A great boutique bar in Sydney CBD that offers a great range of locally crafted beers, ales and stout. The Redoak offered a nice restaurant with a range of lighter meals available. A definite returner!

We visited at an awkward time 1:30pm but there were only 3 tables. Husband enjoyed the beer but we waited for a long time for our lunch food and then after food was cleared and no pending drinks we waited for our check. Finally I told my husband to go ask at the bar because we spent 2 hours there.... More
