One of the world's most awarded restaurants, nothing but super. The degustation menu is one of the most creative anywhere.

I had been wanting to come to Tetsuyas for years, and my partners 30th birthday was the perfect opportunity. So the fact that I left feeling like the experience was only OK for the $700 price tag was a bit of a let down. A...More

Congratulations for Mr Tetsuya for receiving a second Michelin star for his Singapore restaurant. His Sydney one also deserves a couple of Michelin stars as well if they gave them out in Australia. This was our fourth or fifth visit over the past seven or...More

A beautifully, yet understated restaurant. It exudes quiet and calm. We indulged in a 10 menu which was delightful, but it takes time to go through the dainty dishes. It is a costly event!

People bought a Rolls not only because it was good car, but also because only a few could afford one. Tetsuya Sydney is the same. Everything is done as well as it can be. From the valet parking, understated elegance, table spacing, staff attitudes and...More

Everything was cooked well and plated nicely but for such a steep price tag I thought I would be getting more artistic or bold. Ocean trout was amazing with the konbu flakes adding great texture and flavour to the perfectly cooked trout. All other dishes...More

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,

Description
Tetsuya's serves a ten course degustation menu. The degustation is unique, based on the Japanese philosophy of using natural seasonal flavours, enhanced by classic French technique and utilising the freshest possible ingredients. Tetsuya designed his own on-site "test kitchen" within the restaurant to enable him to create the constantly evolving and inspiring dishes on which he has built his esteemed international reputation. Tetsuya's offers one of Sydney's most comprehensive wine lists and our sommeliers will, upon request, match the dishes with wine available by the glass.
