I went in for lunch and had 1 of their luxury Bento boxes with beef. Really good quality food. Nice decor in the restaurant with great views over King Street Wharf and Darling Harbour.

Went with my wife for a nice weekday lunch. Excellent attention from the waitress and very timely food service with an interesting degustation menu. The food was creative but a little bland. All in all, good setting though and worth a try.
the food was ok, but not proportional to cost. The service was good but again not as good as i have had or as informative as i would expect. Its ok, its not life experience great but the food is good, its just nothing new...More
We went on sunday night.I should have checked the bill before paying it but they had a 98.00 sunday surcharge just for 6 people having a modest meal. I thought about the bill walking home and wondered how it could be so high - and...More

The Kobe Jones Japanese restaurant is situated right next to the Darling Harbor ferry terminal with terrific harbor views. Our meal consisted of an 11 course degustation and although the food was very very tasty it was a slight let down from the excitement associated...More
As Japanese restaurants go, Kobe Jones is a definite disappointment. First of all, the music played over the PA system was loud and intrusive. Conversation within our group of four was already difficult, but the waitress had difficulty hearing our drink orders in that din....More
We did a 12 course degustation for my birthday. It is called Autumn Pleasures. First 5 or 6 were good but they get a bit same, same. The lava rolls nearly killed us...so much sauce (lava?) you lost the texture and taste of the lobster....More
