Really nice up market restaurant with great atmosphere.... for a first date. I took my family here looking for a group style, laid back, relaxed atmosphere meal and this certainly was not it. The starters came out individually, i.e. one by one, which is hard...More

Not that easy to find as the entrance is 'tucked away' down a side street off the main road but this is a fabulous Japanese restaurant. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is first rate. The oysters were some of the...More

Took my girlfriend at the time here for a birthday dinner, being a Japanese girl I thought it would be nice to cure her homesickness . How sadly I was wrong. Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted warmly, and the ambience is ordinary, glancing...More

My wife took me out for a lunch in CBD. Felt very welcome when we walked in - excellent service, great and friendly staff and Maitre D. The food was delicious, excellent quality produce and definitely one of the best fine dining Japanese restaurants in...More

A stylish and extremely pleasant dinning hall where great thought has gone into the atmosphere and it really works. Very nice food, the standout the Moreton bay bug tempura. Oysters were over dressed but king fish sashimi very good as was the sushi nigiri. Nice...More

Ok, firstly, finding this restaurant is a little tricky. 44 Bridge St is on the corner of Bridge and Young St, but that's not where the restaurant is. If you're on this corner, head down Young St toward Circular Quay and after about 30 or...More

Really cool decor with excellent food and attentive staff. I was impressed with the care with which the staff took us through the menu and ensured prompt delivery of our meals so that we made it to the Opera House in time for our play!

Went to Tokonoma last Saturday for the first time since it moved from Surry Hills, where it was my favourite restaurant. It's quite a different atmosphere, but still extremely inviting. Service and food were stunning. It ended up a memorable night in a very special...More

2 entree's ( tiny) 2 Mains - really, these are mains. 2 drinks. In and out in 30 Min. Funny, but the place was nearly empty. It was early, and Mardi Gras night.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
