Husband and I were just a little peckish, so he chose the pork belly yakatori, and I had some blue cheese, both were outstanding! Yum!

It went against all my principles, i.e eating in the same place as I slept and I hesitated when I looked at the high prices but time was running out and expediency won. I was stunned when an ordinary looking omelette ($24) arrived with 2...More

Once upon a time this was the courtyard to the old Treasury Building and now located in the lovely Intercontinental Hotel. It has a magical feeling for to the spaciousness above you. Today there was the most delightful man playing an acoustic guitar which set...More

We had a superb lunch here, great food and wine and a nice atmosphere, with good service. Not cheap, but an excellent palce for an informal business lunch

Once the courtyard to the old Treasury building and now enclosed and rather upmarket, this is a lovely intimate space for coffee, cocktails or light meals. The service is always impeccable and the prices are reasonable for a 5 star hotel. At some times of...More

Decided to try buffet style high tea at The Cortile. The ambience was lovely and the live music (singer with acoustic guitar) was a really nice touch. The tea was pleasant and they have an array of tea to choose from. Service was nice but...More

I have walked thru here many times meeting people, but last night we wound up having some great cake and dessert wine here. The setting is perfect in heritage surroundings and the menu is tops.

Have been to Cortile on several occasions whilst staying at the Intercontinental Hotel. Hotel prices but the surroundings are amazing, the staff are friendly and the food tasty. Great for a business meeting.

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
