The food served here reminded us of the great food we ate during our silk road adventure in China 2 years ago. We ordered the lamb and chicken skewers and the pleasant memories of the silk road returned. The meat were full of flavors, tender, aromatic and juicy. The lamb taste is unforgettable. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere here is buzzing and the service is ok once you can get the waiter's attention. The food came out not long after we ordered, with all dishes arriving at the same time. The potato noodles were great (comes with a choice of spicyness) and so was the beef salad. BYO topped off a nice meal.

The food here isn't bad however the level of hygeine is definitely questionable. Service staff spoke minimal english hence it was quite hard asking for things like more water or an extra menu.

Really good, real Uighur food, always. Service can be slow sometimes. It is always a great night out though, particularly with BYO booze. Fantastic drinking ice cold vodka with hot and spicy lamb kebabs. Really reminds me of northern China. Nice staff too. You should book because it does pack out. Strongly recommend the lamb kebabs, with naan bread. I... More

The decor is below par, the staircase leading to restaurant may scare most off, the menu is tired, old and unprofessional but the food is excellent. Been here twice and had the lamb skewer, veg fried rice and chicken and potato type curry. Servings are huge and great for sharing. Restaurant is said to be halal and doesn't serve alcohol.

Being from Central Asia, I absolutely adore Uighur food, as it is so similar and reminds me of my mom's cooking. While not being as nice as the food I grew up with (difficult to beat one's mother food to be fair), this came in as a close second. The soups are alright but my special favorite were the various... Enjoyed the kebabs and Spicy chicken thoroughly. The place is not an "A" Class restaurant but if you want authentic Muslim Chinese cuisine, it is worth a try. 3/4 people like in our group.

I lived in Turkey for 10 years and when I randomly walked by this place last night for lunch I knew I had to try it. I went today for lunch and told them my friend and I were both long term residents of Turkey and wanted to try this cuisine which is a kind of origin of Turkish food.... More

Loved the flavours of the Northern Chinese cuisine served at this utilitarian restaurant. Really not to be missed if you enjoy beautiful broth, warm spicy flavours and great food cooked and served in a simple way.

By chance we walked into this basic looking restaurant just wanting to have a quick meal before a concert. No character whatsoever about the decor, tentatively we ordered a spicy lamb soup, lamb skewer and beef samosa between my partner and me. All of them were authentic and delicious, especially the lamb skewer, we can't help but add a stir-fried... More
