Went to dinner with my wife and two close friends for an evening meal. They offer a good seafood smorgasbord (not spectacular) along with normal hot dishes. We were in at 7pm, but had to be out at 9pm. Not cheap at $79/head, but you got a 30% discount off this for book 3+ people, bottle of WA wine was... More

We had a most enjoyable buffet lunch at Cafe Opera at a reasonable price of $55 p/p. If you are looking for a massive buffet spread this is not for you. The choices on offer are move selective and does not consist of piles of mushed over food. This buffet looks like you are the first to make your selection... More

This place offers a great breakfast with a wide variety of options. Also the breakfast buffet as an Asian breakfast section offering congee and seafood fried rice, for people who want to try something different. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Great service. your eggs are cooked to order. Great ambiance too.

The food, the service, the atmosphere and the price are all excellent. There isn't an over abundance of food so that you aren't overwhelmed. There is a god seafood selection and for non seafood eaters, the variety of roasts and salads is good. The desserts and cheeses are tremendous and all is kept refreshed if running low. The staff go out... More

Took friends from England to dinner at Cafe Opera. As usual service was great and Buffet was very good with several options, crab, prawns, oysters, salmon carvery meats, hot dishes salads and desserts. Our guests were very impressed with both the building and the food.

Buffet meals are seldom very good but this was particularly average; the disappointing quality was not reflected in the high price. It is supposed to specialise in fish, but we found the oysters and prawns disappointing, whilst the crab and mussels were just OK. Best was calamari. The mains were also just about Ok, but there was a distinct lack... More

Booked their VIP package which was reasonably priced. Restaurant is lovely and upmarket. Seafood was good and fresh, mussels were tender and sweet but oysters were so little but still nice. Prawns were good.. . hot food and dessert section were just above average. overall we enjoyed our dinner.
