Had lunch here while on business in Sydney. The food was really good. The salad was loaded with veggies and the house dressing was amazing. Also had the filet which had a great flavor. We looked out over the water while dining and really enjoyed the breeze.

An Excellent Fine dining restaurant right at the harbour with nice views of Sydney Opera house and Harbour bridge, a wonderful atmosphere for that special occasion. Great service, good portions of delicious food and good selection of beverages. We dined here some 20+ years ago with my then girlfriend and we recently returned for our 18th Wedding anniversary. By luck... More

The location beside the Sydney harbour, near the Harbour Bridge, with views over towards the Opera House, is fantastic - Sydney on a postcard. Unfortunately, the food did not match the location. The steak was very cold - fortunately the gravy/sauce was hot and I managed to use this to slightly increase the temperature of the steak. It is a... More

We loved the views here it was amazing! We asked the reservation teams to get a table with a view and they did just that! The food was very very good. We had a Groupon voucher and were very satisfied. We couldn't even finish off our entree it was that much food! Staff were great and I wish we went... More

This is excellent location to enjoy Sydney icon while eating. The waiters are very nice. Food wise it is Ok. We arranged by groupon coupon. So it is value. Get extra pizza, it is good.

Went here on a voucher deal which included a couple of courses and a bottle of wine for 2 people @ $70 and was not expecting anything amazing for the price. What a surprise, we were shown to one of the best tables in the restaurant with a great view towards the the Opera house (and on a Saturday night)... More

My review us limited to a tour group menu, so the reason for my three stars is that the choices were ordinary and limited. Because we were in a group , we had to go to the bar on our own for drinks. I had the New York strip on the group menu and it was okay. Dessert was a... More

This is located at the waterfront, in the evening you can see the well lite sydney opera house. The food is good, may be a little expensive than the other restaurants you find in the city. THe rock oyesters are to die for, we even tried crocodile and kangaroo meat which was tasty as well.

Have been to this restaurant many times over the years especially with overseas guests, nice view from there. Food has always been ok, however for this time found the venue was poorly maintained, nothing seems to have been improved over the years, bordering on dirty. Most staff were efficient and friendly, just the venue is very tired.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
