A casual environment to enjoy catching up with friends over exceptional food. It’s noisy and chaotic, but it adds to the fun atmosphere. The food is amazing, at incredible value for money, and bring your own wine to accompany the meal. A regular recommendation for casual dinners.

My 3 friends and I visited here on a Friday evening in busy Surry Hills which has really come alive in a positive way in the last few years. The food in this restaurant is really delicious and very reasonably priced. We arrived at 7:30pm but it never really got busy until close to 9pm then everyone came in. It... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. We had enjoyed the food the first time and wanted to return. We booked a table for 7.00 pm. The entrees came quite quickly and then our mains came out together which was disappointing as they were cold by the time we tried them all. The waitress then cleared the table and... More

Came here with a group of 20 friends for a birthday on a Friday night. They were at capacity and turning people away. The service wasn't amazing but that's understandable considering they were under the pump. Food was great and authentic. The potato and eggplant curry was a favourite. We had the banquet which is very well priced at $30pp.... More

I've never eaten Nepalese food before, but by gosh, I wish I could get this kind of delicious dishes whenever I wanted something very tasteful but not over-spiced. The restaurant does not have an alcohol license, so we were a bit put off. But the staff told us to buy a wine bottle at the nearby bar and bring it... More

Hadn't been here for a couple of years but pleased to say the food is still of an excellent standard. We had potato and dumpling dishes for starters which were very good and the Nepalese chicken curry and lamb dish we had for our mains were tasty and spicy. Portions are not particularly large but plenty enough with a bowl... More

First time at a Nepalese restaurant so very interested in true Nepalese flavours. Highlight dish was the goat curry which was delicious - we also had a few tasty sides/accompaniments including dumplings (which I didn't expect, but assume it comes from the proximity to China). Split-level layout, quiet tonight (Monday) but potentially 'full on' when busy. There's more tables upstairs,... More
