Dropped in for a late lunch as we were in the area. It came recommended some time ago from a good friend. We had veg samosa, tandoori chicken, kadai chicken with garlic naan and roti. It was all quite good and I would try it out again for sure.

My wife and I went to this restaurant quite late on a weekday. It was obvious that they were starting to clean up for the night. That said, the enthusiasm with which we were served was terrific. We had the Malai Tikka, Saag Paneer and Dahl. It was very tasty and the serving sizes were generous. So much so that... More

I love coming here. It's BYO and two people can pretty much role out the door absolutely stuffed for around $60. I've tried their take away, but they really fall down there and don't usually buy from here. But in terms of eat in, it's a winner! My favourite curry is the vegetarian kofta! Delish!

My experience is from a northern European perspective, and even though I'm no virgin with indian food, my experience is limited to restaurants outside India. That being said, this was by far the best Indian food I've ever had. We went there as they had a promo offer on dimmi (50% off food) so didn't expect all that much. Surprisingly... More

One of the better restaurants for Indian food in Sydney. I'd recommend eating Butter Chicken at this place. Service wise too - it is pretty quick. Try and make reservations as this place is quite full on weekends.

Went here for lunch over the weekend. Very few customers and even though the temperature was over 30 degrees, they did not bother putting on the air-con. so we were really hoping that the food would be excellent. To be fair, our mains weren't bad, but nothing special and the portions were not large. The big let-down was the entrees.... More

Not a fan of indian food, but was assured this place was authentic and not your average indian restaurant. Glad we went, had a great meal, service was excellent and am looking forward to going again soon. Food is fresh and nothing like I have had at other restaurants.

Went here, following our marriage in Sydney, on Tuesday 24th January, with family. Gary, the Maitre D, was pleasant, very funny, and welcoming. When we placed our food orders, including starters, and mains, he didn't even write anything down! Everything was right, when the food came, and there was four of us, in our party. The food was excellent, including... More

I think we missed out on the best of Indian food this place had to offer by not understanding regional Indian cuisine. But we truly enjoyed our meals. We ordered butter chicken (makhani chicken) and rogan josh lamb, naam bread and pulao rice. The serves seem small in the copper dishes they come, but make no mistake, its more than... More

This is one of my favourites and we eat here often. The food doesn't come from the big curry factory and the various dishes are cooked authentically and correctly (which matters unless you like the thick red sludge that passes for "curry" in lots of places). Have tried most things on the menu and haven't found a dud yet.
