My partner took me here for Valentine's Day - we both very excited to experience the famous Italian food and service that everyone has been raving about. We arrived on time for our reservation and were taken to our table which was at the back...More

Not sure what's the Relationship with Sciue Sciue & Bar Machiavelli.... Similar yet different. Great pasta, that's what we're there for.

A different adventure once you step through the front door. Professional to a 't', courteous and astute wait staff made dining here a pleasure. Not to mention the Italian fare. Obviously one of the places to eat in and to be seen attending - lots...More

This is one of those restaurants that lives of it's past reputation and in this age of social media they are playing a dangerous game.I am told this is an institution favoured by big wig politicians so you don't necessarily expect them to have good...More

I read some of the reviews and hesitated. I found Machiavelli to be authentic with most ingredients sourced from Italy. The restaurant is downstairs below ground level. It is old school tastefully done. We immediately felt at home... We were given the best bread I...More

We enjoyed a very pleasant luncheon at Machiavelli. Nothing much has changed at this venue over the years. The ambience is delightful and interesting with pictures (now in colour) of celebrities and politicians around the walls , and a large display of produce on a...More

The food (Penne Bolognese) was quite good and the service was excellent. The restaurant is open and the atmosphere is more upscale business but that said, I felt quite at home. I had the Penne Bolognese and a Cheese Cake for dessert and both were...More

We have been to this restaurant many times over the years but it has lost it! Disinterested staff, ordinary food and service, we probably will not go again. The meals we had were not as good as on previous occasions, the lemon veal was particularly...More

Having the need to find a meal before flying home. I stumbled across Machiavelli ristorante. I would have to say it was best Italian meal I have ever had. Zucchini flowers, prawn risotto and crepes. Well done

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
