There were five in our group and Simon ordered all our meals. We had three little pancakes for entree, four mains and a small fried rice. We had two bottles of wine and two beers. Our bill came to $80 per person. I could see...the astonished look on our friends face when he saw the bill. We paid but I won’t go back again as I believe we were overcharged. Also masks are mandatory for staff and none of the staff wore a maskMore

A great delivery for a corporate boardroom lunch! Good selection, quality and quantity. In particular the eggplant in black bean sauce turned non eggplant eaters into converts!

We were in Sydney celebrating my wifes 60th birthday. We searched "great Chinese restaurants". Fortune Village came up. As a family of adult children, my wife and me we had the best food, the most friendly service, and Simon Chan is the hottest host with...the most infectious laugh and friendly welcome.More

Took the family on Friday night. We pre booked online some weeks ago from the TA reviews. The pre booking system worked well and no issues to our table. The service at this restaurant is extremely good apart from I wanted another beer at the...end of the meal and couldn't find anyone. The food is of a high standard BUT the dishes are very small compared to other Chinese restaurants. The satay dish was over 50% onions but was nice. Its a nice looking restaurant and great service but its not cheap and I feel better options a few hundred meters south in Chinatown.More

This was our 3rd visit and won't be our last despite a couple of hiccups along the way. Every visit we have had they always miss a meal. We joke about it now but if it wasn't for Simon and the the quality of the...meals we probably wouldn't return. We asked where is such and such...the first & second time it was an entree missed and this visit it was the vegetable dish missed. They always apologise and then rush to bring it out. Simon gave us a free drink on the 2nd time but we didn't bring it to his attention this time. It wasn't very busy due to Covid and this time around we weren't asked if we wanted dessert and no one come near us for anything after we finished eating. We were a bit disappointed on this and so went downstairs to pay as we weren't even given a bill. Yes we could have called someone over but we just decided to go. We love coming here but the attention to detail on serving what is asked and then the attention after the meal is not too much to ask for. Maybe next time.....More
