This little gem in the heart of the city is a must for authentic Chinese food. It’s a family business with staff that are warm, friendly and welcoming. The service is second to none. The owner is hands on and makes sure all guests are...looked after. He has a wonderful sense of humor as well! Kept us entertained for sure! The food is amazing. The soup dumplings are a must. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We will definitely be back. Best Chinese food we’ve had in a while.More

We held a milestone birthday event for a family member last weekend at Fortune Village. There were 45 of us and we booked out the mezzanine level. Simon and his team went over & above our expectations in helping us host the dinner party which...was a roaring success. Banquet selection guided by Simon was delicious with dishes served at timely intervals. Simon’s personal service was second to none; he was also our unofficial photographer for our group of 5 tables. Wonderful memories for all especially, the birthday boy. Highly recommended for lunch, dinner or special functions.More

Hi Simon, I just want to send you this message to say “Thank you!” for a truly wonderful dining experience. My wife and I came down to Sydney to see the Wedding Singer Musical at the State Theatre. We have not been to Sydney in...over 2 years. We live at Toowoon Bay on the Central Coast. So glad you recommended the Tamarind Chicken. It was delicious. We will back! Visiting Sydney to see our Son and Daughter in Law ,came here based on reviews and we weren’t let down the food was very very nice, we had Peking Duck, after the pancakes we had the duck meat served with Chinese Mushrooms and Veggies, Salt...and Pepper Prawns, Beef in Peking Sauce, Sweet and Sour Pork it would be very difficult to say which was the best dish as they were all THAT good, I guess if I had to choose the Duck dish was amazing. Looking forward to returning to Sydney to visit Son and DIL so we can come here againMore

The restaurant was 300mtrs from our city Hotel so it was conveniently placed. The food was very good and the service good. There was a good wine and drinks list with reasonable prices (a very good cider). There was a good array on the menu...with choices in each category. The soups were great and the eggplant and pork most delicious. Good vegetarian choices and good atmosphere (we were seated upstairs) but it was a little noisey - but it was a Friday night.More

There were five in our group and Simon ordered all our meals. We had three little pancakes for entree, four mains and a small fried rice. We had two bottles of wine and two beers. Our bill came to $80 per person. I could see...the astonished look on our friends face when he saw the bill. We paid but I won’t go back again as I believe we were overcharged. Also masks are mandatory for staff and none of the staff wore a maskMore
