We've been too all the 'Pancakes on the Rocks' restaurants. This is probably the one that has the most room for improvement. The wait staff are inexperienced and the restaurant floors could do with a good clean. After arriving at the restaurant, it took us a while to get the attention of a waiter to allocate a table to us,... More

Looking for somewhere cheap but good for an evening meal. Came across this place and it looked busy, which is a good sign. Good quality food at reasonable prices with really quick service. You don't really come across savoury pancake houses very often so this one is well worth a visit

Been here twice. I loved their pancakes. For our appetite, their servings were big, an order of pancakes can be consumed by 2-3 people. Their pork ribs dish is a must try. Again, it's good for 2-3 people. Best time to go is right after opening and around lunch, never dinner. It's always jampacked.

Love pancakes! So this is hence of my fav restaurants to go in Sydney. Reasonably priced, many choices on the menu. Great dessert choices as well! Service is always good and food comes fast as well. Not sure how great the ambience is, but ok enough. Will always want to go whenever I come to Sydney. Pancake lovers, go for... More

This place is the best place after 12 midnight, also any time, but I said after 12 midnight because most of the restaurants and cafes are closed. I used to go there after 12 midnight to eat pancake. They serve many delicious dishes and their their specialty pancakes, beside all kinds of drinks alcohol, coffees. So if you are hungry... More

We had a lovely meal here at a very reasonable price. There was a short queue to enter but it did not take long to be shown to a table for 6, and we did not have to book in advance

The breakfast is always beautiful and the pancakes are delicious. The only thing I would change is the "hash brown" which is actually a potato rosti which is nice in the edges but the inside is not. Wouldn't hash browns from Woolworths be cheaper and 100% more tasty??? I wouldn't even care if they were smaller. Next time I think... More

Our kids like this restaurant because of the variety of food offered (pizza, ribs, steak, pancakes) at reasonable prices and quite tasty. However be warned, there is quite a long wait for a table.

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
