I like Movenpick ice cream and have enjoyed many all over the world, so was delighted to find this place. However this is the meanest portions I have ever visited. The one scoop is tiny and embarrassing when you see the costs charged. Attitude is it take it or leave it. Suggest you leave this particular franchisee alone until they... More

Movenpick ice-cream is one of my favourite brand. I buy them all the time from supermarket. However, ice cream from this one store just doesn't live up to it's name. They ran out of chocolate so we ordered rum raisin and vanilla chocolate chip. There is hardly any rum flavour in the ice-cream and it's not smooth like Movenpick is... More

The place was trick to find when we came from the sky wheel. It was average. Not very impressive. Yet it costs a lot. There was a line when we were there. So apparent it's quite popular.

Loved my ice cream in a waffle basket! Delicious flavours, lovely friendly service, decent price for a piece of heavenly decadence :-)

Good selection of ice creams and desserts. Nice place to go either mid afternoon or if you fancy a dessert after a meal somewhere else.

Stopped here for ice cream. Tried the Belgium chocolate flavor and the white chocolate. The white chocolate was the BEST tasting ice cream I have had!! It had large pieces of white chocolate in the ice cream. We found that Movenpick is a chain and there were other locations in Cairns and Melbourne

I love the movenpick pistachio. Great service, friendly staff. Expensive at $5.50 per scoop but worth it. Yum.

The icecream is good but the serves are small and the prices aren't cheap. Not really worth another visit.

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighbourhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to Dj’s. Families can visit the Chinese Gardens of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Sydney Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
