We wanted a restaurant that had good food and service and found it tucked away in a little alley we didn't think to look. Very close to where we stayed and the food and service was amazing. We chose the banquet and the taste were sensational. My partner doesn't like hot food but it was very tolerable. The service was... More

Delicious dishes, served beautifully in a very friendly atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the wine list exhaustive. We would recommend the pulled pork, crispy chicken and the seafood entrees in particular.

If you want a more interesting take of chinese food, this restaurant deserves a try. Great service, colourful dishes and exciting new tastes of the all-too-familiar chinese food. Open your mind and dive in. We did the set menu and and it was worth exploring your taste palette.

I always visit this restaurant when ever i am in Sydney and every time it always maintains a high quality cuisine. The duck pancakes were excellent and the mushroom croquettes rounded out a delightful meal. Will continue to visit whenever i am in Sydney

We made a walk in reservation at 6pm for an 8pm dinner. Staff were smiling and happy, always a good sign of a well run restaurant. Was seated promptly and drink orders taken quickly. Food order took a little while as we were seated as most tables were turning, but we had our drinks so all was good. We ordered... More

Wonderful atmospheric restaurant where you eat with your eyes long before the food arrives....take time to take in the outside visual feast that seems to be an instagram hot spot....then continue inside to begin the journey into full stomach bliss....recommend ordering several dishes to share and taking to train and disembarking at Wynnard to allow a tipple or two....

A friend recommended this restaurant which is located in a small lane near Martin Place. It was an excellent recommendation. It is a small shared dishes kind of place with mostly Chinese asian cuisine. The dishes we ordered were of a very high standard, without exception. There is plenty of flair in the composition of the food and the service... More

Excellent restaurant in central location. Food excellent and good wine list. Service of similarly high standard. Serving sizes are generous. Some mains are available in half portions – ask your waiter as it is not mentioned on the menu.

This restaurant was recommended by one of the locals and it did not disappoint. Everything was mouth watering. We had a little trouble finding it since It is tucked back and off the beaten path but, it was worth tracking it down. First it is beautiful with tables inside and out. We started with the dumplings. They were all fantastic... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
