An absolutely delicious place to eat lunch or dinner. The food is extremely delicious and tasty! Also, the staff are very nice. The only bad points are the seats aren’t very comfortable, it’s a bit squishy and it is in a very shady alleyway. Overall,...More

Whenever I travel to Sydney, Mr Wong is a must to take clients for an amazing experience. My favourite dishes are the dumpling platter, crab fried rice & the duck. Enjoy!

Each dish at Mr. Wong's was incredible. Perfectly cooked, unusual, delicate and varied flavors. They don't take reservations and are extraordinarily popular. To get in with minimal delay, arrive 10 minutes before they open, or 10 minutes after. It's a huge restaurant. We were eating...More

Staff were very professional and attentive. Menu was great. 3 out 4 dishes were good. Salt and pepper calamari though very tough and chewy which was disappoiting. Over all good meal with other dishes shining especially the Artic Tooth Fish dish (pictured)

Saturday lunch and you don't need to go past the dim sum menu. Great service. Stunningly delicious dumplings. Great selection to choose from. Nice wine list too.

Mr Wong's is always delicious - with great service, great atmosphere and the best dumplings. It's busy and noisy but that adds to the experience. Put it on your list.

We’ve not been here for a number of years & were so glad to return! We queued up by 5.20pm & were able to get a table. We just had to vacate by 7.15pm, but didn’t feel rushed. The food was delicious & service fantastic....More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Not sure of banquet prices, I prefer to order what I feel like on the day, but I know they have a minimum spend for group bookings 10 or more of $800, they don’t strictly enforce this though it’s just to stop tourists coming... More

Many of the dishes on the menu have a gluten free option. You will notice that there is an asterisk beside the dish on the menu that shows it is available as gluten free.

Layered with timeless colonial furnishings including timber floors with tiled inlay, bamboo framed French woven chairs and slow turning ceiling fans, Mr. Wong pays homage to classic Chinese influences in a contemporary style. The Cantonese-style menu features over 60 dishes as well as an unrivalled dim sum selection. Sprawled over two levels, the 240 seater Mr. Wong is one of the largest restaurants in the northern end of the Sydney CBD. It offers a range of dining options varying from large group tables, through to intimate tables for two and seating at the open kitchen.
