Centrally located, the food is surprisingly good for a pub. The servings are more than generous and seating outside it recommended to people watch. Beers on tap are plentiful. I often come here with friends from overseas

We got there about 7.30 on a Sunday night and sat at a table outside.Unfortunately there was a lot of machinery and people running up and down the street, packing up from the weekend market. Apart from that everything was great. Good Irish food &...More

We only got drinks here but the atmosphere was lively, beer was good, live music was awesome, outdoor seating was nice, overall a fun and energetic place to get a drink on a weekend.

A hot Sydney Sunday so eating outside wasn't on. The bistro at the Mercantile was the answer. My partner had salt & pepper squid and I had the Irish meat pie. A beer each and some Irish music made a pleasant lunch.

We are at the mercantile following a day in the blue mountains. It was a beautiful evening and we say at a table on the sidewalk. We had the curry chicken and shamrock pie, both of which were delicious. There was love music inside, but...More

The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and
sailors from the old nation. As the oldest
neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone
streets host more than 100 heritage sites and
buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney,
Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi
“ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the
waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The
