Very busy place. You arrive and put your name on a list. Tables are very close to each other and service is pretty bad - lots of hard working Asian girls that didn't smile. But atmosphere is nice for a busy place and the food is great!!! Came back another time and service was even worse but I didn't mind.

Small wait for a table but well worth it. Staff always around and attentive (but not a smile to be seen!). Food was really great. Masaman beef, a chicken soup, a salad with a bit of a chile bite, and the pork belly - all delicious. Worth a visit.

If you are looking for a busy noisy pleasant meal with good food then look no further . The food is served hot so be careful to explain to the waitress your preference keeping in mind that mild could be very hot . I strongly recommend this restaurant for good food with live atmosphere noisy for some .

17:30 on a Friday night, seated straight away. Super friendly staff, great service. Chicken chilli basil was outstanding, just hot enough and I love it spicy. Chicken coconut soup was also outstanding. Prices are really good. Definitely coming here again.

The Chicken Pad Thai that I tried was delicious, with a side of spices so that I could adjust the spiciness to my own preferences. The servers were friendly and patient and food came quickly

This is a very popular restaurant and getting a table just wasn't an option so we ordered take away instead. It was prepared quickly despite the restaurant being packed and the flavours were great too. Plenty of veggies and meat and just the right amount of spice.

I hadn't been to Home Thai for about 5 or 6 years, but when i went last week, i was surprised to find it hasn't changed one bit. The waitresses still walk around with ipads taking orders and the food is still well priced and great tasting. I was very impressed to find their Pad See Ew was not sweet... More

we had our first lunch in sydney at this unassuming restaurant which was empty at 12 in the afternoon but the quality of food served was excellent and the reputation of the place stood out as it soon filled up.The authentic flavours of the various dishes made this a mouth watering experience and we continued eating here during our one... We chose this place based on TA reviews and ranking. Fortunately we got there around 5:30 and I'd don't have to wait very long for a table. You can watch the kitchen cooking from the window in front which was interesting. As someone else said the servers are not friendly. One of us got the green curry chicken and asked... More

Excellent restaurant! My wife is Thai so I can tell you this is the real deal. The place can get very busy as it's not real big, so try to avoid the rush time. We waited 1/2 hour but it was well worth the wait.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
